Chapter 63: You Cheater!

Ahh! What has it been, like a year since I updated? Well, for the guys that read my other stories, you know I'm suffering from writers block. :-S I've looked at a blank screen for I'm not sure how many days, trying to come up with something witty, if not at least cute for an update, but I've got nothing. I truly feel absent with all the lack of updates going on with this story. I mean I have plans, they just can't happen right now, like I need a filler of some kind but like I said before, I've got nothing.

And Filppula? Really? lol kidding.. :-) I think he's great. I am somewhat team biased.. for example I'm a big Yankees fan, so there is no way I'd be writing a Sox story.. not gonna happen. Which reminds me, I have been thinking about branching out of hockey for stories, but I don't know. Anyways, back to Filppula. I don't have a problem with him.. so I'll see what I can do. I have a lot on my hands right now.. but I'll definitely consider him for my next story. I mean I'm not totally against doing someone from a different team, for example my P. Kane story.. but it's just harder for me. Oh well, I do like challenges.. :-) I've been looking at your comment for a coule of days though, and I think I already have a story line going in my head.. :-)

Short update before I head off to the lake again.. it's 114 degrees here today, yuck. :-S

Ty's POV

The incessant buzz of an alarm clock going off brings me out of the short lived sleep I had actually gotten. So much for sleeping in today..

"Geno," I mumble, hoping he will roll over and turn it off. I hear nothing and don't feel the bed move the slightest bit, so I know he's still out cold. "Geno," I try again, but once again nothing. I reach over my shoulder and nudge him, and he finally wakes up. "Alarm," I say softly while pointing over in the general region of the annoying buzz that so rudely pulled me from my much needed sleep before pulling the blanket up closer around my face, snuggling in deeper to the covers. I hear the buzzing stop, his arms wrapping around and pulling me closer to him seconds later.

"You can't tell me after last night you still have energy," I mumble while rolling over so I can look up at him as he rests on one of his arms, looking down at me as well.

"No, I'm tired," he promises with a smile before leaning down and kissing me on the forehead.
"But I still barely slept at all, too much adrenaline with the cup and a baby all in one night," he adds with a smirk.

"What time is it?" I ask while shaking my head at him. He's just like a little kid right now, and it's absolutely adorable.

"A little after 10."

"Shouldn't your parents be getting up soon?" I ask, looking over at the door to see if I can see a trace of light from under it, which I don't.

"They might be still sleeping because they might have gotten a lack of it last night because someone over here," he starts while leaning down and kissing my neck, his hands tickling my sides, making me squirm, "was awfully loud and rowdy last night."

"Oh god," I murmur while hiding my head in his neck, my cheeks getting hot as I even think about that possibility. "That would be so embarrassing," I add, shaking my head in an attempt to get that idea out of my head, but he just continues to tickle my stomach. "Hey, that was all your fault by the way," I protest, grabbing his hands in mine in an attempt to make him stop tickling me, but failing horribly.

"Oh really? I'm not sure how, I managed to keep myself under control," he reiterates, starring down at me with a smile.

"It's not my fault you're good," I pout, to which he just laughs in reply, his smile getting bigger. "So I suppose we are still celebrating today?"

"Yes," he answers while getting up out of bed, extending his arm to me, prompting me to do the same. I sigh before crawling out of the covers, excepting his arms as he pulls me into hug. "I have a feeling we will be celebrating for a while," he continues while placing his hand on my stomach before kissing me softly.

A month and a half later..

Geno's POV

Things are finally just starting to settle down since the big SC win. Most of the guys headed back home quite a while ago, leaving me alone with Ty most of the time. During that time, we've used it wisely, taking a vacation, but not to Ireland was previously planned. After all the drama that caused, we both decided it was for the best if we picked a different destination, so we both agreed on an Alaskan Cruise. I could tell Ty was getting stressed about the baby, and it was the perfect setting for her to relax. It also let me unwind a little bit, knowing she wasn't freaking out all the time.

It's actually cute to watch her now, watch the way she cries for no reason, watch her as she puts away more food than me, and watch as her motherly instincts kick in. By this point, I'm dying for hockey to start up again, but this isn't bad right here.

We also took a mini vacation to go watch Wimbledon. Ty said she just had a feeling Roger Federer was going to win and she needed to be there when he set the record for most slams ever. I just shook my head at her, but later regretted it when he did in fact win and she was once again right..

I can only smile as she lays cradled in my arms on the couch, watching her watch whatever movie she picked out while I just sit here and watch her.

"Do you want a boy or a girl?" she asks randomly, bringing me out of my trance. I roll the idea through my head, one I've often thought about, but ending with the same conclusion. I have no idea..

"What do you want?" I ask, but with the way she whips her head up to look at me, I know I've made a mistake.

"Not fair, I asked you first," she exclaims, hitting me on the chest playfully.

"Okay, well how about if we say it at the same time?"

"Okay, on the count of 3?" she asks, to which I just nod my head in response. "Okay," she says before counting down. "One, two, three... Boy." She just looks down at me, starring daggers at me since I tricked her and never answer. "You cheater!" she exclaims, hitting me harder this time but I can see the smirk on her face as I only shrug my shoulders and laugh. "That was so not fair!"

"I know," I confer while running my hand through her hair, loving how she leans into my touch. "It was effective though," I add, which just makes her narrow her eyes at me before laying back down, snuggling into my chest again. "Why a boy?"

"Because I want a little one just like you," she says while pinching my cheeks and scrunching her nose at me. "Even though that means he will be completely full of shit all the time.."

"Thanks babe.." I laugh.

"But no, really.. I can picture it now, you teaching him to skate, to play hockey.. very sexy," she adds with a devilish grin before kissing me. "What do you want?" she asks while laying back down once again

"Boy."

"Why?"

"Because I know that if we have a little girl and she looks anything like you, I'll have to beat the boys away with a club," I joke, but in all actuality knowing its probably true. She would be beautiful if she looked anything like Ty..

"And to think I want to put up with two of you..." she sighs while shaking her head, causing us both just to laugh before she turns her attention back to the movie.

Chapter 62: A Daring Move

Randomly woke up at 4:30 this morning, so I figured why not pass the time by writing about a little Geno an Ty. :-)
Okay, this just being my main story, I'm gonna post this here and hope everybody else reads it. I'm going on vacation for a family reunion. I leave later on in the afternoon today and should be back late Sunday night. Gotta go get my tan on at the lake... :-) Now of course, I'll take my laptop with me. Idk what I'd do without it! I'm sure I'll have time to update while I'm there, well because I'm a night owl and nobody else in my family is.. haha, but there probably won't be as many updates as normal (which hasn't been that many here lately, I know, I suck.. haha).
Ty's POV

It's getting extremely late by the time we actually get on the plane to head home. I'm beyond exhausted by this point, and it's really amazing me how these guys can have this much energy after playing a full hockey game, not to mention the wear and tear of a full season behind them now. I congratulate them as they file past me before leaning my chair back, finding it harder and harder to keep my eyes open. Just as I'm about to doze off, someone plops down in the seat next to me.

"Hi Kris," I sigh after opening my eyes to see who it is.

"Worn out?" he asks, raising his arm and pulling me against him so my head rests on his chest before giving me a friendly squeeze.

"I don't know how you aren't," I manage to get out before yawning uncontrollably as I see Geno making his way onto the plane. He sees us together, and he just shakes his head in response.

"Are you hitting on my woman, Kris?" he asks while leaning against the seat, starring down at us.

"I didn't have to, she practically attacked me when I got on the plane," he says while getting up. I take a swing at him, but I miss as he jumps out of the way and heads back to the back where most of the other guys are.

"You need to settle down," he says while pushing me back in the seat so that I'm kneeling on my knees. "It probably wouldn't be safe for Junior if you decided to attack Kris," he says while putting his hand on my stomach.

"Geno.." I warn before slapping at his hand while glancing around, wondering if anybody saw, which only makes him laugh at me while he sits down.

"Ty, everybody is too excited to pay attention to small details, and well if they are, they're too wasted to remember it tomorrow," he jokes, causing me to laugh before another yawn escapes my lips. "When do I get to tell everybody?" he asks as I lean against his arm.

"Later," I mumble, sleep quickly attacking me as I snuggle closer to him as he takes my hand in his, linking our fingers together.

"I guess it's a good thing we broke the rules after Game 1, huh?" he asks while nudging me a little. I look up at him and see a smirk on his face, so I just shake my head at him.

"I understand if you want to go celebrate with the guys."

"I haven't got to celebrate with you yet though," he responds, but still turning around to see what they're doing with the cup now.

"We can celebrate later, at home," I add in a suggestive tone.

"I just want a few minutes," he pouts while pulling me closer to him, still not able to stop moving.

"Then sit still," I command while taking my hand and stopping him from moving before laying my head back down on his shoulder and once again closing my eyes.

Geno's POV

I sit quietly on the plane ride, holding her small hands in my much larger ones, knowing I'll have time to celebrate with the guys later tonight, but right now, this is right where I want to be. I've had quite a bit of fun with them already, and as much as I would really like to just go home with her, curl up in bed and hold her close to me, I know that she's going to insist that I celebrate with the rest of them, get the full experience. And it's not like I would have her all to myself anyways, my parents are staying for a while. Truthfully, our quiet moments together are limited now anyways, but even that fact puts a smile on my face.

The plane lands, and I wake Ty up, not believing she slept through the whole ride with how loud everyone is being. We walk off the plane hand in hand before she looks up at me, a lazy smile on her face that proves she's still tired. I wonder if this is how she'll be for the next couple of months..

"Okay," she say while kissing me lightly on the lip. "Have fun, be safe."

"Yes mother," I joke while rolling my eyes, making her hit me playfully. "Speaking of moms, my parents are staying at our house for a while, that's okay, right?" I ask, suddenly wishing I would have asked her before I told them it was okay.

"Yeah," she says while shrugging her shoulders. "See you at home," she says before kissing me lightly one more time and walking away, hugging Kris one last time with a huge smile on her face before disappearing out of my sight.

Ty's POV

From the airport, his parents and I take a cab back to the house. I show them where the spare bedroom is, the kitchen and point to the direction of the bathroom before heading up to bed myself. Luckily for me, they seemed just as tired as I was. It was actually the first time it had just been me and them, but it wasn't as bad as I had figured it was going to be.

After climbing what seemed like a million too many stairs for my tired legs to climb, I take a quick shower before crawling in bed, falling asleep almost immediately after my head hits the pillow.

Sometime during the night, I feel him crawl into bed with me, draping his arm over my waist as he rests his head in the middle of my back.

"You're home," I sigh while snuggling further into his arms, loving how safe I feel within his grasp.

"Mhmm," he mumbles back, the vibration of his lips on my back sending a shudder down my spine.

"What time is it?" I ask, rolling over so that I've facing him.

"Late," he answers while placing a kiss on my forehead. "Really late. Or early I suppose, whatever way you want to look at it."

"You're drunk aren't you," I laugh while he swiftly moves me under him.

"No," he murmurs before moving to my neck, making me sigh.

"Yes you are," I joke while his hands trail up my sides.

"Maybe a little," he says while pulling away from me just enough to look down at me, a smile clear on his face, but then his eyes trail down to where my t-shirt has bunched up, leaving my stomach bare. "I can't wait until you start to show," he admits before bending down and placing kisses on my stomach.

"Don't remind me," I sigh while placing a hand over my eyes. "I'm so not looking forward to being as big as a house, maybe an apartment building."

"You will still be beautiful to me," he says while leaning back up and kissing me lightly on the lips, laughing at the way I scrunch my nose before his hands trail down my sides, his fingers deftly reaching for the edges of my panties.

"Listen stud, I know you were the scoring leader of the playoffs and all," I joke while grabbing his hands, stopping them momentarily before he ignores me and takes my panties off anyways and tossing them on he floor. "Geno, you're parents are right down the hall," I manage to squeak out as his hands move up the inside of my thighs.

"You can be quiet, can't you?" he asks in a husky voice, tentatively inserting two fingers. I nod my head, probably quicker than needed, which makes him chuckle as I run my fingers through his hair, bringing his lips down to mine.

Geno's POV

I can feel her thighs beginning to quiver and I can't help but think that this is by far the best part of the night, her laying underneath me, pressing her body against my hand, wanting more. I kiss her neck, continuing to move my hand in a slow motion until she's moaning my name.

"Shh," I whisper while placing my free hand over her lips. "You're going to get us caught," I laugh. She nods her head before squeezing her eyes shut, her breathing getting deeper, but it's not until I feel her hands claw into my back that I know that she's gone over the edge.

I remove her shirt, followed by the rest of my clothing before leaning down and kissing a line from her neck to her belly button, and it's not until she squirms that I know that she's finally come back to her senses.

Ty's POV

I feel him flinch as he enters me before he looks up at me, a question clear in his eyes. I try to convince him everything is okay by wrapping my legs around him and pulling him deeper, but all he does is place his lips on my neck, not giving in at all. Damn him and his restraint..

"Is everything okay?" he asks in a deep voice, telling me he's having a harder time keeping himself in check than I thought.

"Mhmm," I moan into his ear, but he still doesn't seem too sure.

"You promise?" he asks before kissing me on the lips, making his first tentative thrust, momentarily stealing the breath from my lungs and I swear making my heart beat double time.

"Everyones fine, I promise," I manage to get out between moans, which he quickly reminds me I need to keep at a minimum as he glances down at me, so I bury my head into his shoulder, hoping and praying I can control myself, but knowing it's probably not going to happen as tears of joy finally leak from my eyes.

Chapter 61: The Double Whammy

Whoo!! Eff yeah! I wish you all could see my facial expression when I say that, it makes the whole quote. haha This year has absolutely rocked for me. North Carolina is the champs in Mens College Basketball, Federer wins the French Open, and now the Pens get the cup. :-) I've always had bad luck, and my friends often make fun of me and say I 'curse' whatever team I want to win. I don't know if it's broken, or if I ever had one, but this all means one of two things. Either the Yankees are a shoe in to win the World Series because this is just my year, or my luck has ran out and they are doomed. This wasn't how I planned this situation to go down in my story, but it just kinda fit. It's a short teaser, because I really think it's all my mind could handle right now. After days, I'm still on cloud 9 :-) haha I guess short cliffhangers have been my specialty here lately..

Ty's POV

Over the next week or two we went through the same cycle. Games 2 and 5 brought home a very grumpy Geno, while games 3, 4, and 6 were like complete polar opposites, which is expected. But now, the teams fate lies within a game 7 in Detroit. Oh bugger..

When I first woke up in the morning, I kept my distance from him, knowing that he would be the typical completely focused, game-day Geno. Routines were followed perfectly, absolutely nothing changing, which all led up to now.

It's mere seconds before faceoff, and I'm nervous as hell...

The guys had been playing well in Detroit, they just weren't getting any results which aggravated every one of them. How are you suppose to improve things when you are doing them pretty darn well in the first place and still seem to be coming up shorthanded? I don't know how a team is suppose to do that, but I did know one thing. If anybody was going to get it done, it was this group of guys.

I sit in my normal spot during the game, watching through unseeing eyes. Everything is literally a blur until Sid goes down in the 2nd. I know that I should be trying to help, but I also know that Kyle can sense how wound up I am and that I probably would be of no assistance right now anyways, so he smiles at me before shaking his head and helping Sid to the locker room. I can understand his reaction perfectly. I never thought I'd fall in love with Geno either, at least not to the degree where everything he wants, I want desperately for him.

I'm a nervous wreck for the rest of the game, but the buzzer finally goes off, and I can't stop the tears from building up in my eyes. Damn hormones..

I stay on the bench, watching as the team goes wild and just laughing at them as they act like little kids. After the dog pile ceased, I look over at Geno only to find him starring back at me, the biggest smile I've ever seen plastered on his face.

I watch him celebrate with the team, and finally his parents from my spot on the bench. His parents look so proud, and rightfully so. Who knows how many morning practices or weekend tournaments they attended to get him here today. All of this is probably why I find myself sitting to the side, allowing them to enjoy all of this. After all, they've earned it, and I know I'll get my time with him later, so I watch him for afar, a proud smile plastered on my face.

After most of the celebrating has died down, I see him make his way to me, but a reporter gets to him first. He smiles over at me, kind of shrugging his shoulders. I point to the locker room, indicating I'll wait for him in there. I turn to walk away after he nods his head, saying he'll meet up with me here shortly.

I wait patiently for what seems like forever, just sitting in his stall, needing a break after a long and stressful day. I'm still so nervous I can barely sit still, but for a much different reason this time. Finally, I see him walk through the doors and I can't contain the smile from crossing my face.

Geno's POV

After finally breaking away from all the nagging reporters, I head back to the locker room to see Ty sitting alone, waiting for me. As soon as I open the door, she springs up from her seat, running toward me and jumping into my arms. I hold her in my grasp before sitting her back down, kissing her as I do.

"Congratulations," she says through a smile after we separate.

"Are you gonna come out and celebrate with us when we get back to Pittsburgh?" I ask, hoping she will as I kiss her again.

"Can't," she murmurs in between kisses. I pull away from her, trying my best puppy dog face to convince her to come out with us.

"You never drink that much, the guys won't think anything of it if you don't."

"It's not that I won't," she starts while shifting her gaze to the floor. "I can't," she says with a shrug while looking back up at me, a smile plastered on her face.

I cock my head to the side, unable to say anything, and she just nods her head in response, telling me that the thought running through my mind is completely true.

"Can't?" I ask while taking her hands in mine. She shakes her head no one more time, tears of joy running down her face. I grab her into a tight embrace, thinking tonight could be the best night ever. First the cup, and now this. She's finally pregnant..

Chapter 60: Not During Playoffs..

Alright mariabprice, this one goes out at a request from you. :-) Short one, I know, but it's all I've got time for tonight, and I at least like to post something when someone asks about it.. so sorry for the shortness, but here it is. :)

Ty's POV

A couple of weeks and 3 teams later and the Pens were headed to the finals. So far, I hadn't given in to my no sex during playoffs rule, even though I was tempted, many times I might add. He tried his best to convince me to change my mind on multiple occasions, but I held my ground.

I stand in the bathroom, putting my make-up on before the game when he slinks up behind me, just like he has for the past couple of weeks or so. I feel him move my hair to one shoulder before his arms wrap his arms around my waist, his breath heavy on my neck.

"It's not going to work Geno," I warn, but I can already feel my body betraying me and leaning into the warmth of his broad chest.

"Mhmm," he murmurs against the skin of my neck, sending a vibration through my whole body and has me shivering in anticipation. His hands trail up my stomach and up under my tank top until his hands cover my breasts and I find myself moaning against my will and find my hands pulling down on his neck, wanting him closer.

Needing to put some space between us, I turn around and hop up on the counter, but he ignores my advising glare as he steps in between my thighs. He leans in to press his lips to mine, but I press my hands against his chest and keep him where he's at.

"Ty," he groans, obviously frustrated. "It's been like 3 months," he pouts before leaning in to press his lips to my neck again.

"That's a complete exaggeration. More like 3 weeks," I laugh, but not managing to find the strength to push him away. After all, he's not the only one that's been suffering.

"I've missed you," he says quietly, laying it on thick to try and get me to give in.

"Missed me or my body?" I ask with a smile while pushing him away a little bit to get a good look at his face.

"You," he reassures me before pressing his lips lightly to mine. "But your body too," he adds with a devilish smirk.

"Mmm, I don't know," I start while shaking my head. "I think right now you mostly miss my body," I add while reaching out and grabbing the growing bulge in his jeans which makes him groan and my smile to grow.

Geno's POV

"You're not playing very nice right now," I pout, knowing it probably won't get me anywhere. "And I have been playing really good," I add, just for good measure.

"You have been," she nods in agreement. "You just have this certain energy about you when you get on the ice, I wonder why that is," she finishes while cocking her head to the side and narrowing her eyes on me.

"One day won't hurt anything. And besides, this series could take another week or so. Are you really going to make me wait that long?" She leans forward, pressing her lips lightly to the shell of my ear.

"Better try to sweep them in 4, stud," she whispers, and I swear I can hear the smile in her voice before she slips out of my grasp and out of the bathroom, successfully avoiding me again.

Ty's POV

The first game didn't go as the team wished it would have. All game long, it just looked like we were a little too slow, a little too worn down to win the battles for loose pucks.

We ride home in silence, and I know it's due to the visions of last year flashing back into his memory. I know I could tell him things like 'this isn't the same team' or 'it doesn't mean anything..' or 'it's just one game', but being an athlete myself, it's not something that soothes like it's suppose to. All it does is remind you of the failure you just went through. It just reminds you that you couldn't get the job done, you weren't the better team.

He walks through our front door, shrugging his hockey bag off his shoulder and laying it by the door before walking straight over to the chair and sitting down, leaning back and raising one of his hands to push at his temple.

I follow him, sitting down on the arm rest of the chair, and he rests one of his arms on my legs, which lets me know that it's not as bad as I first anticipated.

"I'm going to go up to bed," I say before picking up his hand and kissin the back of it, but he just nods his head in response. "Are you going to be long?"

"I'll be up in a little bit," he replies in a level tone, but I can still hear the disappointment in his eyes. I simply nod my head and walk toward the stairs.

About 10 minutes later, I'm sitting at my vanity putting lotion on my legs when I see him leaning against the door frame to the bedroom, head hung low. As I stand up, he makes his way to me and pulls me into a hug. I can see by the look in his eyes how hurt he is, how scared he is that the Wings will win again this year, so I back him toward the bed, thinking that just for tonight, all rules will be tossed out. I know he needs me, needs me to help him forget about tonight, forget about everything else so I allow him to lay me down on the bed before he quickly follows.

Chapter 59: Possible Connections..?

Ugh, that sucked ass. We couldn't get anything going all night long. And what was up with all the crappy penalties we were taking? So uncharacteristic of the team. Poor Fleur too.. Okay, anyways I'm sure this will be another sleepless night, so who knows how many updates I'll come up with.. lol

Ty's POV

After successfully getting him out of the shower so I could finish up, I towel dry my hair a little before pulling my bangs out of my face, allowing the rest of my hair to fall in loose waves. I quickly apply my make up before walking out of the bathroom and finding him sitting on the bed watching me.

"I'll be back," I say while walking over to him and giving him a quick kiss. I turn to head toward the door, but he doesn't let go of my wrist. I turn around to face him, a questioning look on my face while he pulls me onto his lap.

"You aren't going to practice?" he asks while taking one of my hands in his, gently stoking his thumb against the back of my hand like he always does.

"I have a doctors appointment, so no," I answer shortly.

"The doctor?" he asks while looking up at me hopefully, the same eagerness in his eyes you would find in a little kids after telling them they can have as many cookies as they want from the cookie jar.

"Not for that," I add with a faint smile while squeezing his hand slightly. "Just kind of a check up after the whole mono thing." He nods his head one time to acknowledge me, but sits quietly otherwise. "Playoffs start in two days," I start, getting his attention as he looks up at me, clearly not understanding where I'm going with this. "Maybe we should wait until after."

"Why would we do that?" he asks while grabbing my chin and turning my head so he can press his lips lightly to mine.

"Because you need to be focused," I mumble against his lips as his arms snake around to the small of my back.

"I am focused," he replies while pulling my hair back away from my neck, moving his lips there instead. I hold in the sigh that wants to escape my lips, knowing that he doesn't need any more help or ammunition while having this conversation. I thought about it last night, and it really does make sense to wait.

"Not totally," I argue while backing away from him. "But I have to go or I'm going to be late," I add while kissing his lips lightly and disentangling myself from him.

About an hour later, I head toward the arena after leaving the doctors office, thinking maybe I could catch the last half of practice, but knowing Geno will be a little disappointed with the news I have to tell him.

I walk toward the ice, hearing talking and some yelling going on so I know that practice is indeed still going on. After confirming that, I turn around and make my way down the hallway toward the locker room, but as I go to turn the corner I see Victoria and and her boy-toy, Evan, following closely behind her. Actually, I probably shouldn't call him that. He's been around for longer than 4 months, so maybe he actually does really care for him. Poor guy..

"Hello Ty," Victoria greets while walking toward me with a broad smile. I smile back, trying to be polite since I haven't had a run-in with her in quite a while, which can only make me happy. "I heard you were sick?" she asks, obviously trying to manage some small talk with me, the deepest our conversations get.

"Mhmm," I answer, not because I'm trying to avoid her. I've learned by now that that is merely impossible, but because I can't help but be distracted at the way Evan is starring at me, as if he knows something or has heard something about me that just amuses him in some way. I take in his body language, and he is definitely tense, which I'm sure is the exact same as my body language as well right now. So I make him nervous... which in turn just makes me nervous.

"Well are you doing alright now?" she continues, snapping my attention away from Evan.

"Ugh, yeah," I manage to squeak out, still obviously bothered by him. "Just got back from the doctor actually."

"And everything was good?" she asks again, playing the all too concerned act that makes me know she isn't serious, so I just nod my head in response and glance over at Evan one more time, finding him still starring at me.

I excuse myself, turning and walking down the hallway when I run into somebody else, literally. I look up, finding myself starring into the incredibly creepy eyes of our new janitor.

"Ugh.. sorry," I mutter quietly before walking around him and down the hallway, but I can still feel his eyes on me. Two months of him working here, and he still has the ability to creep me out beyond belief. I can't shake the feeling that I know him. And Evan for that matter, I just don't know how either of them fit.

Shaking my head, I walk into the locker room and finding that most of the guys are already in there, meaning that practice must be over. I glance over at Geno, but he is in the middle of an interview, but I know he can see the panic on my face as I make a bee line for the trainers room.

Geno's POV

I watch her slip into the trainers room, and I automatically know that something is off by the way her shoulders sit square, indicating that she is definitely tense about something. I can only pray that it didn't have anything to do with her doctors appointment. As soon as the microphones are withdrawn from my face, I head in the direction I saw her last.

I see her standing there, so I make my way into the room and close the door behind me.

"Ty?" I say while walking up behind her, catching her off guard, which just shows that she is definitely deep in thought about something. "Are you alright?" I ask, hoping that she's rattled for other reasons than her appointment earlier. She hesitates before answering, so then I know for a fact that something is wrong. "What is it?" I prod, needing her to snap out of her trance and tell me before my mind starts to run wild at all the what-ifs that are starting to seep into my thoughts.

"Nothing," she says while shaking her head, as if she is trying to convince herself of that too. I'm about to call bullshit on her, but she speaks up before I do. "We do need to talk about my doctors appointment though," she continues while hopping up on the table behind her. I move closer to her, resting my hands on her thighs, waiting patiently for her to spit out whatever she has to say. "He said that we need to wait until I get stronger to try and have a baby. He said that even though I feel fine physically, my immune system needs to catch up."

"Okay," I say while brushing her hair out of her face, kissing her lips lightly.

"Okay?" she questions while pulling away from me.

"Yeah, okay. So we wait a few weeks, it's not that big of a deal," I answer while pressing my lips to hers again, but I can see that she's still worried about something. "Ty, what is it?"

"Evan," she says simply, and I can see that far away look she gets when she's seriously thinking about something.

"Still getting to you?"

"Yeah, I just can't place why." She stares up at me before pulling at my under armour, bringing me closer to her once again. She scrunches her nose in response, one of the cutest things I've seen. "Go shower," she says while jumping down off the table and pushing me toward the door, "and I'll meet you at home." I can only laugh as she opens the door and throws me out before quickly shutting it again, making all the guys turn to look at me before just shaking their heads.

Chapter 58: Baking..?

Chapter 58.. think this one should star Mr. Letang? Yes, I think so, especially after the way he played tonight. Great idea, right? One problem.. I think writing 4 stories is messing with my head, because I can't think of anything for the life of me! Ugh.. so frustrating. Sorry.. lol Some more bad news.. I have an interview for a job tomorrow. It consists of some pretty demanding hours, so if I get it, there well probably be less updates than normal. :-( I'm already mad at myself for the lack of updates with this story as it is... Anyways, this is a short one, but I had to at least post SOMETHING to celebrate the big win over Detroit tonight.. :-)

Ty's POV

I stand at the counter in the kitchen, mixing the dough for the cookies I've been craving. It might be 8 in the morning, but for some reason they sounded extremely good. I look over at Geno as he sits at the table, eating his breakfast before I finally realize just how quiet it is.

"Do you ever miss living with all the guys?" I call over my shoulder just as he's scooting his chair away from the table, plate in hand. He puts his plate in the sink before walking over to me.

"Why?" he asks while standing behind me and wrapping his arms around my waist, resting his head on my shoulder.

"It just gets so quiet around here sometimes," I say with a shrug before wriggling out of his grasp to get something to bake the cookies on. "Do you?" I ask one more time.

"Would you be wearing that around the house if we still did?" he asks with a devilish smirk while pointing to my morning attire, which consists of a pair of underwear and a matching tank top.

"No," I reply while walking back toward him. "Probably not," I add.

"Then no," he says while taking the cookie sheet away from me. "I don't." I take it back from him before walking back over to my bowl of dough, stirring it quickly again one last time before I see him walking toward me again, but I know him all too well and know exactly what he's up to.

"Geno," I warn while taking the big wooden spoon I had been using minutes later and picking it up, as if to try and warn him away. "No," I add while backing up, not stopping until my back runs into the counter behind me, but I can feel the corners of my mouth starting to twitch as I try and hold off the grin that wants to spread across my face.

"What are you going to do, hit me with that?" he asks while taking two more steps in my direction.

"I might," I say while raising my eyebrows. "If you don't stay where you are," I add, but he takes another step. Looking at the bowl of dough next to me, I know a mischievous grin has to cross my face as I reach for the bowl, getting some dough on my spoon and flinging it at him. It lands on his shoulder, sticking to his t-shirt. He looks up at me, down at it, and then finally back up at me again.

"You didn't.." he says while taking two more steps to me, scraping it off of his shirt and holding it in his hand as he keeps lurking toward me.

"I did," I laugh before abandoning the bowl and trying to make a run for it, but two big steps of his match 4 of mine, and the next thing I know, I'm held in his grasp before he picks me up and lays me down on the ground, smearing the cookie dough in a line by my collarbone. I struggle against him, but then I feel the bowl just at my fingertips, so I grab and big handful of dough and smear it on his face, catching him off guard.

"You are so going to pay for that," he says while shaking his head before leaning down to kiss me.

"Mhmm, can't wait," I add while his lips move from mine and down to my neck.

A good half hour later, we lay on the floor in the kitchen, probably surrounded by one of the biggest messes I've ever seen. I stand up, shaking flour off of my tank top while reaching for a rag to try and clean some of this up, but I can tell that he's not quite done yet as he wraps his arms around my waist yet again.

"Geno," I warn while turning my head and placing a light kiss on his cheek. Sometimes I often wonder if I'll ever learn that warning him never has any kind of effect..

"Best damn cookie I've ever had," he mumbles while kissing the back of my neck and reaching around me and getting some of the very little amount of dough still left in the bowl on his finger before sticking it in his mouth.

"Better be," I respond.

"Yeah, definitely don't miss them," he laughs while I turn around to face him before wiggling out of his grasp and running toward the shower, him hot on my trail.
